TULIPS:
Buy top size bulbs and plant 6" to 8" deep. Partially shaded areas are fine but plants do best in full sunlight.
DAFFODILS:
Buy top size bulbs and plant 8" to 10" deep. Partially shaded areas are fine. Soil type is not important.
HYACINTHS:
Buy top size bulbs and plant 6" to 8" deep. Very good indoor forcing bulbs. Wonderful scent.
CROCUS:
Announce the start of spring. Plant in groups of 6 to 12, 4" to 6" deep. No garden should be without them.
