Problem:
A worn out lawn
Cause:
A lack of fertility
Solution:
The importance of a well fertilized lawn is illustrated here.
In the foreground, a regularly fertilized lawn. In the back,
an occasionally fertilized lawn. To ensure good
absorbtion of all the major nutrients, fertilization must be
balanced and uniform throughout the season.
Nutrite suggests a four-step program to assure a thick, deep green lawn.

Problem:
Yellowing of the lawn
Cause:
Lack of moisture
Solution:
Water is vital for each stage of growth from
seeding to mature grass. Many signs will show moisture stress.
The first one is when the grass loses its elasticity. For example,
when foot marks stay on the lawn, it is time to water.
This condition is more serious when the grass becomes pale
and begins to yellow. Lawns require more water during dry spells
when high temperature and wind removes water from the
grass faster than can be absorbed from the soil.
